Reflections on Learning

This term in English, our class studied the Holocaust, the Jewish people in WWII and the heartbreaking discrimination and torture that those innocent people were put through. We also read the novel, ‘Once’ by Morris Gleitzman, which follows the journey of a young, naïve Jewish boy named Felix in his pursuit to find his parents. Reading the novel has helped me to appreciate the equality and basic human rights that we are all given. It has given me a new insight on life.
